ONE YEAR OLD CLASS
Mary Mintz - Ms. Mary and her husband Rodney have a son and daughter who attended St. Giles. She spent a year substitute teaching in the various classes and quickly realized how special St. Giles was. She started teaching in the one year old class in 2014 and has "loved every minute." She has always enjoyed working with children and "feels so lucky to have the great fortune of spending my time with the amazing kids, staff and families of St. Giles."
Danielle Colby - Ms. Danielle graduated from UMass Amherst in 1999 with a degree in Environmental Science. After graduation she worked for a non-profit in Boston and then decided to go back to school to become a teacher. She taught 7th grade science at Qualters Middle School before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Ms. Danielle, her husband Eric, and their family moved from Massachusetts to Greenville in 2010. Two of her four children are St. Giles alumni. She taught at St. Giles in 2016 and has subbed over the years. In 2019 she returned to teach at St. Giles because she loves the teachers and families that are a part of the St. Giles Preschool community.
TWO YEAR OLD CLASS
Shirley Terry - Ms. Shirley has been married to her husband Mike since 1996. She has no children but enjoys their farm. She was a nanny for a family that attended St. Giles Preschool from 2008-2012, and was asked to be a part of the St. Giles teaching family. "I had watched how well the teachers treated the children and how much the children were learning and knew I wanted to be part of that team. I am so happy to be a St. Giles teacher, it's the best job!!"

THREE YEAR OLD CLASSES
Karen Siefert - Ms. Karen has been a preschool teacher, a Director of Christian Education, and a School Based Health and Enrollment Specialist in Indiana. Ms. Karen and her husband moved to Greenville five years ago and "we love it here." This will be her fifth year of teaching preschool in Greenville and her first year with St. Giles. She is looking forward to a great year of learning together with the children.
Leslie Ferrell - Ms. Leslie is a native of Greenville and has 8 years of preschool experience. She has been married to her husband, John, for 22 years and they have two children, Katelyn and Kenner. New to her this year, her daughter Katelyn has gone off to college. Ms. Leslie graduated from Lander University with a degree in Business. Ms. Leslie previously worked with Ms. Karen for three years and is looking forward to her new adventure at St. Giles.
Alicia Miller - Ms. Alicia is from Tucker, Georgia. She moved out West in her twenties and that is where she met her husband Bill. They have two beautiful children Lilly (5) and Andy (3). They love Greenville and, if it was up to her, they would never move again. She enjoys hiking, music, baking and going to church. She loves being a preschool teacher, "there is nothing more rewarding than watching a child grow. God is good!"

Amy Penny - Ms. Amy met her husband, Chris, at UNC Charlotte where she received her B.S. in Exercise Physiology and Athletic Training. They have 4 super active and athletic daughters. Three of her girls attended St. Giles. Ms. Amy has been working here, on and off, since her family moved to Greenville in 2002. She has always loved children and finds teaching to be such a rewarding job. When she is not attending sporting events, Amy volunteers at her church, coaches, likes to run and most of all stay active with her family.
Tami Bradley - Ms. Tami has taught 2 years of middle school math in Charleston, SC and 6 years of high school math in Savannah, GA. The past 11 years she stayed home to raise her three sons, who are currently attending Woodland Elementary and Riverside Middle School and Riverside High School. She is originally from Charleston and graduated from The College of Charleston in 1997. She has been married to her husband, Shawn, for 16 years. As a parent, and a teacher, she believes that it takes a village to raise a child and that it is important to evaluate and handle children's situations individually and not as a majority rule.
Kristy Cox - Ms. Kristy has worked at St. Giles for two years in the four year old class. She has a kindergartner and a third grader at Woodland Elementary who graduated from St. Giles. She enjoys going to Clemson football games in the Fall and going to the mountains with her husband, two sons and German Shepard, Bailey.
Tricia Greene - Ms. Tricia earned her Bachelor's Degree at Clemson University in Graphic Communications. She has 15 years of preschool experience and enjoyed her first year at St. Giles in 2013. She and her husband, Bob, have two children, Caroline and Ryan. Her favorite classroom activity is Circle Time and singing songs.

DIRECTOR
Deborah Stenzel - Ms. Debbie is originally from Pennsylvania and has been with St. Giles Preschool since January 2000. She began teaching in the two year old class and subsequently moved up to the threes and fours. In January 2005 Ms. Debbie took over the position of Director. Prior to coming to South Carolina her addresses included El Salvador, Texas and Georgia where her love of teaching preschoolers began. She truly believes that "it is not what you do for the children but what you have taught them to do for themselves that will make them successful human beings," and preschool is the first step in achieving this. Debbie and her husband, Robert, have two children, Jacob and Emily, and three grandchildren, Bobby, Patrick and Henry. Her favorite things to enjoy are reading, antiquing, gardening and, most of all, her grandchildren.
